
From left to right, we have the slides list on the right, slide content in the middle, and slide preview in Cesium on the right.
Add a new slide
To add a new slide, to the left bottom corner and click the blue plus button.

Change slide title
To change the title, double click the title area, and you will be able to edit the title.

Date Field
Below the slide title, is the date field. You can indicate a date if the story happened at a specific time.
Description Field
The description field is a text editor. It supports all the basic features of a text editor, you can consider it as a simplified Word.
Base Map & Terrain
In the base map drop-down list, we provided several options from different base map providers from Bing Map, Carto Map, MapBox, NearMap, and VICMap. Bing Map, Carto Map and MapBox have global coverage. NearMap covers all the major cities in Australia, and VicMap covers the entire Victoria in Australia.
For Terrain, three terrain options are listed: Cesium World Terrain, VicMap Terrain, and Melbourne CBD Terrain. Cesium World Terrian has global coverage, VicMap Terrian covers Victoria State, and Melbourne CBD Terrian covers the City of Melbourne.
Observations

Observations are the key part of the Story Map. Here you can add all of your data prepared in the Digital Twin, and also you can add some simple geometries here. For details of this part, we will cover it in the next chapter.
Now let us add a 3D layer for this story. Simply click the blue plus button and choose 3D Tiles. And it will pop up a window that allows you to search and choose 3D layers. For this tutorial, we can search Melbourne, and choose Melbourne 3D PhotoMesh. To preview the data layer you choose, just click the review data button. If you are okay with the layer, just click save and this layer will be added to the observation list.
Save the Story
The story map has enabled the auto-save function. So you don’t need to worry about the saving issue. But if you’d like to manually save the story for sure, you can just click the save button in the left bottom corner.
Publish the Story
At the top of the story, you will find a publish button. Once you click the publish button, this story will be shared with the digital twin community and all the users will have access to your story. But if you want to keep it private, you can click the unpublish button or add a password to the story.
Hide Slide & Delete Slide

At the top of each slide, you will find a toggle button, which can hide or show the slide, and a delete button to delete the current slide.
Reorder the slide
Reorder a slide is simple, just drag and drop the slide thumbnail from the left slide list.
